### `encode`

```

The model as bytes: "GZML", the format version, then the fields in order.

Effects: fail.

### `decode`

```gizlang
function decode(data: bytes): Model throws string
```

The model of `encode`; each later format version keeps reading the earlier ones.

Effects: fail.
