# gizdb:embedded

a GizDB folder served by this process. gizdb:store is a client only; a program that wants the engine beside it (an app with no server to start, a test, a benchmark) opens its folder here, and so links the engine. Other processes, a worker or the platform, reach the folder at its unix socket as clients (Store.open).

The database at `location`, as Store.open opens it, but a GizDB folder that no process serves is served by this
one until Database.close. Its first start moves in the SQLite file `location`.db when there is one (Store.movedIn).
