Giz Computer

A computer that keeps its state.

Start a persistent Linux computer in a GizStack region. Its disk is a volume with snapshots and clones. People and AI agents share its terminals, its browser and its editor, under the same permissions.

Coming In development. This is the design it ships to. Roadmap

What you get

  • Persistent or ephemeral

A computer lives until you stop it, or ends after an idle time that you set.

  • Volumes with snapshots

Block volumes from Storage. Snapshot one before a risky change, and clone it in seconds.

  • Shared sessions

Terminals, a Chromium browser and the language server are sessions. A person and an agent can attach to the same one.

  • Endpoints

Open a port as a *.giz.sh address or on your own domain.

  • Safe by default

No token in the environment. Secrets go to each process. Outbound network is denied unless the image declares it.

  • Metered once

vCPU-seconds, memory, disk and egress go to one account ledger, with spending caps. A cap stops work and never deletes a volume.
