Sponsor Gizlang

Gizlang is open source under the MIT license: the compiler, GizDB, GizWeb and the toolchain. Giz Inc. pays for its development today. A sponsorship keeps it independent and fast-moving. You need no account: an email address is enough, and every receipt carries a link to change, pause or cancel.

Sponsoring opens soon. Meanwhile, write to support@giz.ai with "Sponsor" in the subject.

What the money pays for

  • Build and test machines. Every commit builds on Linux and runs the test suites, the benchmarks and the clean-install checks on Node 18 and 20. macOS and Windows machines come next.
  • Open benchmarks. The published measurements run again on dedicated hardware, with their method and the command that reproduces them.
  • Maintainer time. Reviewing issues, fixing reported bugs and writing the docs.

Questions

Can I get a refund? Yes. Within 30 days, write to support@giz.ai and we refund it, with no questions.

Is it tax-deductible? No. Giz Inc. is a company, not a charity. Companies get an invoice with their tax id.

What do you keep about me? Your email, to send receipts and the manage link. Nothing is public unless you tick "Show my sponsorship publicly"; then only the name, link and message you give, and the month you started. Amounts per person are never shown.

We are a company. Can we pay by invoice? Yes: pick Company or any amount, and the card checkout takes your tax id. For a bank transfer, write to support@giz.ai.

How do I stop? Open the manage link in any receipt and cancel. It takes one click.

Other ways to help: use Gizlang and tell us what breaks, and share it with someone who builds web apps.
