GizStack

Platform

One stack, from the compiler to the cloud.

Most platforms are an assembly: a language from one vendor, a database from another, a cache, a queue, a web framework, an object store and a permission system for each. GizStack is one stack. We build every layer, so each layer fits the next and gets faster with it.

The base: four parts

The roadmap is the one list of what is coming.

Why one platform is better

One language. Your app, its tests, its schema and its tools are Gizlang. The compiler checks a change across all of them before it runs.

One database. Records, analytics, key-value data, change feeds and search are one engine and one transaction. There is no copy from the OLTP database to the warehouse, and no cache to keep in step.

One storage layer. Files, objects and volumes share one store, one quota and one set of permissions.

One security model. People, the command line, AI agents and apps sign in the same way and pass the same permission checks. An agent can do only what its user may do.

One way to change things. Each change is an Operation: a typed input and result, checked, recorded and, where it applies, approved and undoable. The console, the API and agents call the same Operations.

Live change that keeps state. A new version of an app replaces the running code. Open pages update in place. The compiler refuses a change that would break the running data.

Where it runs

  • GizStack Cloud at gizstack.com, with apps at {name}.giz.sh.
  • Your computer, with the native toolchain from the download page.
